Success of IT-Ready Technical Support Program Made Possible by Our Special Partners

No one gift of time, talent or treasure makes our objective – nurturing the next generation of technologists for our nation’s IT workforce -- possible. It takes a team: our people and our partners.

We appreciate every gift in any form that we receive from each supporter. However, during this season of gratitude, we want to devote a few posts to saying thanks to some special partners by sharing who they are and what they do to support aspiring technologists and others around the country.

  • Otto Bremer Foundation – With financial support from Otto Bremer Foundation, we were able to provide IT job training and career services to individuals in Minnesota traditionally under-represented in the tech industry.

  • Pitney Bowes—Thanks to the Pitney Bowes Foundation’s longstanding support, we were able to encourage populations that traditionally have been under-represented in the IT workforce, such as women and people of color, to launch tech careers.

  • TEKSystems – In partnership with TEKSystems, we have expanded the IT-Ready career program to offer more classes for unemployed and under-employed adults. In addition, TEKSystems works with IT-Ready graduates to place them in tech jobs.

  • Worksystems –Thanks to Worksystems’ involvement with Creating IT Futures, we were able to train, certify and connect unemployed and under-employed adults with employers for their first jobs in the IT field.

Thank you to all our partners and donors.
