After eight years at MicroAge, she turned her professional life to the nonprofit sector. She acquired nearly 14 years in workforce development at Jewish Family and Children’s Service of Minneapolis where she managed programs that help people navigate the challenges of low or outdated skills, a new culture, limited English, long-term unemployment, or poverty to achieve meaningful employment. She also worked collaboratively across programs and with community partners to develop new programming and provide grant writing and coordination that supported new and existing programs. In two years, she helped raise approximately $1.5 million to implement a program that provides training assistance and wrap around support for individuals pursuing careers in IT.
Wallace holds a bachelor’s degree in International Business and a master’s degree in Communication from Ball State University.
In 2015, Wallace joined Creating IT Futures. She is based in the Edina, Minnesota location and lives nearby with her husband and three boys.
