The Creating IT Futures Foundation organizes its work along the lines of many in the IT business: in the categories of service and support:

Service

The Foundation is committed to helping at-risk individuals and populations under-represented in IT prepare for, secure, and be successful in IT careers. To those ends, the Foundation has historically focused on helping people afford and attain the training and certifications they need to be successful.

In 2011, the Foundation began working directly with employers to establish for our candidates six-month apprenticeships that may lead to full-time employment. By being more attuned to employer needs, we feel we direct the right candidates into our program.
